i think easy is not the word... maybe once the driver knows what he's doing, rather then to use entry speed to compesate for power in the turn, there would now be more than enough to in theory, "make a mistake" and be able to correct it continue the angle or create more of one.... The possiblity of doing longer turns and so is mor4e possible, but the action is still in an under powered car, to try keep angle because of high entry speed... gonna be at wesbank tomorrow night just to check the car out...aint driven with the suspension and so on....cant wait
Arguably the strongest S13 SR20 in SA!!
i don't think those 3 pairs of tyres is going to be enough....
im gonna take it easy

JP - please let us know what time. i would love to see that! and take lots of lekka photos!!!
Hmm, 1ton you say. How did you get it that light,
comes out 1190... no interior - no carpets, lining, console... aircon - no heater, no piping and ducting in the dash board, no glove box - ali motor - ali piping - lightweight 5 stud hub kit - fibre glass front and back bumpers.... - Uras bonnet - fibre glass - dont know what im forgetting... still carbon boot, plexi windows, lighter rims.... i recon its about that.....weighed what came out of the car...was over 200... put a cage in, so ya...i recon its close
Hey guys... Heres a pic of a dyno reading i thought i should put up... As you know, or i think you know, i damaged teh head i got with the motor... The original head had had work done on it.. sergio worked further, but because of the way it was previously flowed, he was restricted... With the new stock head, thsi gave him the opportunity to make it perfect in his eyes and get the full potential out of the head....

The above pic shows the different heads and the power they both made at the same boost - 0.8.... as you can see, "its all about the flow" hey hennie?
Anyway... this just shows you that theres power in the head for sure.... all the same parts, sizes, everythng...just headwork...and this was on an already worked head....stock is only gonna be worse....
You fu*kers have to much money to play with...I want to play too ๐ข
Do you think the CA head has the same amount of power in it as the SR does?? What exactly did he do to the head??

hmmm, ok, that sound about right to me now, thought you meant like 1000kg, would've been nice to get that low, but there's no way to do that even with CF panels and lexan windows.
where do you get extrude honing done in SA???
i'd be very interested in this!

Yip.
When a guy knows what he's doing you can get great results, some even go so far as reshaping the whole port by welding it up in certain areas and cutting/porting in another. Port volume isn't always the factor to look for but CFM flow at different lifts. You get guys that get a head to flow serious CFM's while not increasing the port volume by much. Airspeed must be looked at too.

haven't seen a place here in SA.
So jap spec...what would it cost me to get the doc to disconfuckulate my head to flow better?
You might have to rip out that platinum credit card for that. Like they say "plastiek is geduldig". ๐

In that case my head will have to flow the way it does.... ๐ข
sad to think the heads are normally the most expensive part on the engine, if you take into account the valves, springs, cams, porting etc.
How much would he charge??

I dont have a platinum but I do have a Virgin (they dont discriminate based on the colour of you card *in a floppy accent*)
I wonder who's the best in SA when it comes to head flowing,
1. vd Linde
2. Roger Taylor (good with toyotas)
3. SAC (hehehe)
4. Doc's
Who else is there.
