Impressive to say the least, what tyres was he running? Semi's or full slicks?

First time out he did a 10.7 s Qmile....

With or without the gas.

GGary5705 Nov 2007, 09:09

Oh ok so I was a bit out, my bad.

SSlowMo05 Nov 2007, 09:15

wow, well it should get faster with practice, rezlo runs not even a second slower with a stock internaled RB25 on an unprepared road track with no AWD...

nice to see some fast nissans around

DDracomoderator05 Nov 2007, 09:19

That is a good time, it would be awsome to sit in a car doing that on the 1/4 mile

HHennie Marais05 Nov 2007, 09:31

hmmm, from 520 flywheel kw to 540 wheel kw, must be a typo or some major boosting.

DDanielmoderator05 Nov 2007, 09:41

Ja i saw it at Tarlton yesterday, awsome!!!

there where some quick cars there. i've so fallen inlove with a Lotus now, have to get a Exige or something and stick a leke turbo motor in

nn1smo200sx05 Nov 2007, 09:57

lol, NAWWWS FTW!

ohh dont forget traction, the reason the 11 second PE cars run 10's in JHB! as documented with 3 different cars all running the same setup at both altitudes.

SSlowMo05 Nov 2007, 10:11

we all know in an ideal situation, with perfect launch, perfect traction, perfect gearshifts, it will take a lot to drop 1 second. Unfortunately, we not NHRA racers here, and none of these factors are ever perfect. So with just a little better traction you can shave off large chunks of time, for example, guys at the coast dropping about 6 tengths when they run in jhb, just because of better traction. SnS have docemented this as well.

DDracomoderator05 Nov 2007, 10:19

traction and all that is a big part of the game, in the end any car in 11's and 10's have my respect....

EEEEETTTTTSSSSS GGGGGAAAAWWWWTTTTTT GGGGGAAAAASSSSSS!!!!!

LOL.

and i agree fully with dracobooi!!!!

SShaheenk05 Nov 2007, 16:10

Thats a frighting quick car, Twin turbo set up still. so not single big ass turbo, ran quicker then the time with his old car.

he is currently busy with 2 other sylines which should be just as strong, if not stronger.

TTrance10105 Nov 2007, 16:22

Wow, thats quick for a first time out.

So where is the vid of the 10s run? ... 😂

GGary5705 Nov 2007, 16:23

What would a motor like cost??

vveecee05 Nov 2007, 16:28

quite a bit of money i would assume!

dont you remember the pic of the, and i quote, "most beautiful engine i've seen!!!"

many very expensive goodies in there!
