Tappity noise on startup

My lifters where quiet until my last service just before it went to Maus. I always used Nissan filters, but on that particular day I was lazy or something and I bought a GUD. Suddenly the lifters are getting noisier, hot or cold engine. :x

So bought an OEM filter this morning, jip, its got a 1 way valve to stop the oil from draining back into the sump 😂

How long have you been using synthetic oils?

Previous owner has been using it for the past 2 years or so
