Red Springs???

You can see those things bottomed out on the previous car, they look very similar to mine 🙂

vveecee24 Jan 2008, 09:01

you talking about the nice black stripe along the top of the one coil on the front spring???

VVladeadmin24 Jan 2008, 09:03

Yip on the second coil... My car had 60mm lowered springs on but the previous owner reckoned it was a bit too much... F yeah its too much 40 is low enough it already scrapes rats of the tar.

vveecee24 Jan 2008, 09:07

lol - i think we lowered mine about 80mm.

thats actually why i keep breaking tie rods, cos i didnt mod that to comensate for the lower subframe/wheel orientation!

VVladeadmin24 Jan 2008, 09:09

LOL... Coil overs?

vveecee24 Jan 2008, 09:10

coilovers dont help.

if you lower your car that much then you have tie rod end ball joint problems.

VVladeadmin24 Jan 2008, 09:13

nah coilovers will help, then you can raise the sucker that little bit not to f it up 😂

vveecee24 Jan 2008, 09:16

i think i might have to raise it about 30mm's for that.

that will suck!

and coilovers are far more expensive than adjustable tie rod ends!

VVladeadmin24 Jan 2008, 09:17

but you'll benefit more... you'll become Bruno's bitch.

vveecee24 Jan 2008, 09:24

you consider that a benefit???

i'm almost done with drifting actually!

mmario_200sx24 Jan 2008, 15:03

so i bought no name brand springs... great, will have to do for now. 😈

DDoctor G24 Jan 2008, 17:29

I recognise those colour springs. G&M.

mmario_200sx24 Jan 2008, 17:38

good or bad, havnt heard of them...

vveecee24 Jan 2008, 18:02

apparently quite good.

DDoctor G25 Jan 2008, 08:20

You can chat to Amien from Evolution Performance about them. They worked very well in the Sentras and Sabres that we used them in.

Amien sent G&M the Eibach ones and they basically made these to be similar to them, except the ride height which was lower on the Sabres & Sentras. I'm not sure what ride height he requested for the s13's.

For the guys who really want other lowering springs the Eibach Sportline kits sell for under $200.
