As far as i know it is wired into the ecu, the guy who i got the car from didnt feel like taking the wiring out so he said i can have it. 😀

also - mine doesnt plug into the ECU. everything is calculated with accelerometers!

I got mine (second hand) for R1600. It simply plugs into the cigarette lighter for power and rpm pickup, then the accelerometers does the rest. Highly accurate and easy to transfer between vehicles 🙂

... nice gadgets, but.. alot of new cell phones are coming out with all these features... accelorometers etc, so rather get one of them next time you upgrade your contract. my mate lent me his phone when i did phakisa and the amount of comprehensive driving feedback info it gave was insane. from sector times, racing lines ... to ... corner G's.
