Ya agreed. We have to get there early anyways to organize pits and everything so it'l be best to go in convoy with the other drivers.

Gary, u can meet us there if you want but it would be nice to have atleast 3 sx's in the convoy on the way there 8)

bleak my golof not going to be ready !!!!!!!!.......

So I'll have to run against you SX boys in my Haudi !!! 😉

CShould be fun !!!!

Cya Saturday !!!

TTrance10124 Jul 2008, 12:09

It sould be alot of fun! 8)

I'm just praying that nothing goes wrong with my sx before saturday.

What do you guys think I should run my tires at? For normal street use I have them at 2.1 all round. I was thinking of upping that a bit for the track day. Good idea? Bad idea? What do you guys recommend.

GGary5724 Jul 2008, 12:51

I run mine at 2 at the back and 2.2 at the front. Remember on the track the tyres will get hot so pressures wil increase.

TTrance10124 Jul 2008, 15:31

Yeah i realize that. From what i've read alot of people raise their tyre pressures before track days tho. Just wondering what would be best.

vveecee24 Jul 2008, 18:03

raise your tire pressure at the back to induce rear end sliding!!!

we used to do that on the drift track!

mmario_200sx24 Jul 2008, 21:30

OK, this is my feeling..... You know how your car handles wid the current tire pressures, so keep it as it is, why change the feel of the car because its on a track?

Change the feel of the car - over cook it in a turn - sit wid a bent SX.....

Learn to control your car as it is standard, then go learn how to setup your car (lots and lots of reading and experience) then apply that to your car by doing ONE adjustement at a time, not doing 10 adjustments at the same time.... Cause you will get to a point where you will back track....

Just my 2 c

TTrance10124 Jul 2008, 21:42

Ya, thats probably best. Thanks, I'l just leave it as it is for now.

TTrance10125 Jul 2008, 18:08

So gary, are you gona meet us there or what?

rratadmin27 Jul 2008, 07:53

It was an awesome day, didnt know my sx could grip so much 😮

Trance, gary should be uploading some pics soon 😂

TTrance10127 Jul 2008, 12:44

It really was an awesome day! Both sx's did pretty well.

I'm quite surprized at how the my sx handled on mostly stock suspension (just strut bars and subframe spacers). It felt pretty good.

I will upload some pics and videos aswell once I get them from a friend of mine that was taking some. 🙂

rratadmin27 Jul 2008, 12:55

think i will get me a gt28 disco potato, help with keeping in the boost next time

TTrance10127 Jul 2008, 13:05

Ya, thats a great turbo! That will definately help. I've been planning on getting one sometime but now after I have felt how your sx goes around the track I wanna try concentrate on suspension mods.

(rat check your pm's quickly)

rrob_dbn27 Jul 2008, 20:23
