So another mini update 😀

All 4 pistons is in, thanx to aep86 for the spare piston that I needed.

Got the head back too. looks all perdy 😛 valves looks good. and its nice and clean.

timing chain kit installed, and cams are in, head fitted to block and everything was torqued.

So far so good. 😀

should be able to have it in in two weeks 😀

Thanx guys! Weather screwing me around a bit today, but at least got the intake powersteering pump throttle body ect sprayed and should have everything fitted to the motor today.

Tomorrow I'll fit the brake booster, clutch master cylinder and the ABS unit. yes yes... I'm fitting it again... 😛 didn't get time to source a deletion block for it... so ja.

Need to touch up here and there and remove some overspray, then I'll drop it the motor next week and should be able to start it in the week or next weekend. 🙂

Yeah almost there... I did loaf a bit on sunday though... went on a beer tasting with a friend and that turned into a whole day mission, was fun though... so ja... My SX had to wait a bit.

Now tonite I'll be bolting everything on the motor again didn't do that either 😳 so will take pics of the completed heart tonite too.

Still need to respray the pulleys and the cam cover though... so will see how the weather looks this afternoon.

Draco... yeah... I know I need a engine stand... just never get around to go buy one 😛 so for now I use the trolly manoeuvre. hahaha.

Ok so its long weekend again this weekend... Gonna try and get the SR back into the car, get the wiring sorted and get the IC plumbing back it with the new IC...

Just waiting on the injectors and then I should be sorted...

So after alot of cursing and swearing... some blood tears and sweat I managed to get the motor back into the SX...

Will be completing the rest of the wiring tonite...

Should also be able to fit the radiator boost pipes and the rest of the randoms tonite too.

My aim for starting it on the 1st might actually be coming true 🙂
