Nice, looks awesome. Will have to take junk tires tho. I'm definitely keen, when my sx is ready... end of the year if I'm lucky...

Will come along to watch though next time.

We should make a plan to go down and have a braai and some drift one weekend.

thats pretty much exactly what we did, we werent sure it was driftable so we took braai equip 🙂 had a braai when the tyres were finished.
There are some sweet braai/viewing spots there, with thatch roofs.. there was even a jacuzzi / pool .. ha. but that spot gets way hotter than durbz so water is a must !

Spoke with the receptionist again this afternoon, she has apparently been chatting to the NDS guys in an attempt to secure one of the NDS rounds there 🙂 the plans are to tar the entire oval, over the unused kart track in the middle.. so it'll be similar to the Rock in jhb. Good times ahead 🙂

In the mean time we can organise a little fun day there, stuff around a bit. 180km from durban, 1:40minz approx. so its really not that bad... seems there's a bit of interest so i'll start a thread in events...

TTrance10101 Jun 2010, 22:49

Awesome!! Hope they can get it tarred soon.

I'm definitely in if you plan an event. I need my RB swap to started so I get in on this action... 🙁

What thickness is the steering bush? And the the hole sizes? It doesn't look the same as the ones you import.

ppoizenmoderator30 Sept 2010, 08:13

the bush is 20mm and the holes i think gary made them 9mm or 8.5

the import ones are thiner because you use all that other crap you just take the rubber out this one takes everything out which i think is better

but steering feels much nicer with this cant wait to fit mine

Hey shot boet 🙂

Ja Big Thanks to PoiZN..... he came around yesterday again, we worked the whole day and got a lot of stuff done in the engine bay...

Radiator breather tank
New power steering tank
Alli pully's
New water pipes
new Clutch MC ( FYI - 2.4 Nissan hardbody is a direct fit to allow Greddy style Intake manifolds, its 2.5cm shorter )
match ported the Greddy intake Mani
redirected IC piping
and did some loom work

It looks like its coming together nicely.. even if it doesnt run well from sitting for so long its still gonna look pretty 🙂

ppoizenmoderator11 Oct 2010, 07:17
