Jason called me today.. and it seems like he wasnt happy just fitting the cams... wants to do a full rebuild starting tomorrow... my dreams of making japfest are dwindling 🙁 .. though he reckons it'll be ready for the event.. the last thing i want to do is ring my new motors neck. Anyway... we'll see.

other news is my daily drive finally got some more guts .. i added the Dellorto downdraft.. wich really helps the 288 cam get the buggy hoping off the line..

Nice on the buggy, I saw it at Franz's a month or so ago. I thought you were going with twin downdraughts.

Don't suppose you'd be interested in buying a full length pan, sandblasted and red primered, still registered and up to date. Or an adjustable front beam with disc brake kit fitted, 5x100pcd? 😉

Update..

888 has started putting me motor back together.. just waiting for bits to arrive so they can continue..

In the meantime... been plotting fitting some fat Rotas ... i fell in love with these Blue GTR-D's on a FD a while back.. just did a quick Photochop, and i dunno hey... not really feelinng it as much, maybe its the angle of the car. Or maybe i should just get Black Rota's... black always works.

Those are nice cuz, I say try gun mettal with a pollishd lip, should give some def and look the goeters.....
