posted in technical about the Skyline

RRudeBoy04 Oct 2008, 19:51

lookin good - what management you gonna run?

lljS1404 Oct 2008, 20:01

Dicktator. That Skyline is also running Dicktator and the numbers on the car while running in are looking impressive,I have heard that is not the best management for the RB25 from a reliable source but im letting Ferroli run with it so we will see how things turn out,What are you using?

RRudeBoy04 Oct 2008, 20:05

Dicktator - and it does more than some expensive systems when it comes to things like controlling vvt...

made well over 300kw with my stock motor so im happy with the dicktator

vveecee04 Oct 2008, 20:08

and much nicer software than one of the other local systems i've seen!

although less tuning points - but no matter!

in fact - a computer's educated guess is much better than some tuning monkey's "edumacated guess"!!!!

HUH 😕 ,sorry Veecee you lost me on the last sentance,
Rudeboy ,How much lag are you getting with that GT35 ? Ian(Rezlo) told me to go for the GT30 for less lag as this worked very well on his car,
power is in at betwwen 3000-3500 rpm and not 4000-4500 rpm,

RRudeBoy04 Oct 2008, 22:11

all comes down to what you want to use it for, i want a fast drag car so dont mind a bit of lag... for street use the GT30 would prob be better and Ian ran 11's with his GT30...

also ran with a GT30 on my kadett - that also ran a 12.0 and made over 300kw

lljS1405 Oct 2008, 15:16

Mostly street but i would like to see what it will do on the 1/4 mile ,I am using Ians setup on the exhaust side but going to stay with the stock intake as i dont have 18K for a Greddy intake and what goes with it at the moment,Will upgrade the intake at a later stage,Hopeully there will still be Greddy intakes available when i need it .

RRiekertadmin05 Oct 2008, 18:30

Well dude form what you told me about your setup....

I think its gonna be insane!!! Shotgun first testdrive!!! 😈 😈

lljS1409 Oct 2008, 19:01
