I'm in a bit of a dilema about what fuel to use...
I've always used unleaded petrol but now my dad tunes me I'm gonna burn valves and and...
Is this true or is it okay to be running unleaded?
unleaded is right
I thinks it should be LRP. You can have more fun if you got the bucks for some Octane Booster.
I have used 95 for 3 years

NO LRP
So you guys reccon unleaded is A Okay then? and won't mess anything up?
yip
I'm running unleaded too... only thing that happend was the turbo broke... but that had nothing to do with fuel! 😮 😉 😉
Sup guys! My car's been sitting in my driveway for the past month cause of the oil leak and because it's too expensive to run! Get bout 6,5km to the litre... Well I've organised to go tomorrow to a friend of mine who has a car lift so that I can take out the gearbox and replace the rear main oil seal which is causing the oil leak, so finally it'll be fixed by the weekend! 😀 Then it can finally get tuned at Doc's Tech in the December holidays so things are finally under way... Just thought I'd let u guys know what's cooking 😂
Sweet mate!
Hope you get it up and running in time to enjoy the sweet summer holidays! 😉 😉
Take a trip to CT and come get some nice girls here! hehe
Yeah bru I'd love to meet some of those babes, the ones up here are sour as anything! lol
Okay to put a long story short- I took out my gearbox, changed rear oil seal which wasn't even the problem!, put box back... Couldn't get it into gear at all...
Next day took box out again, everything seemed fine... Put everything back as best we could and like it should be put together... Gears changed reasonably okay...
The sump was leaking so we cleaned it up... The guy that was helping me didn't do a proper job when applying the new liquid gasket so when we put it back and let it set over night it stil leaked! 🙄
Could anyone suggest a possible reason for the gears not being able to engage without forcing them in?
Now I'm getting a tiny bit gatvol, and it just shows you that if you want a job done properly, do it yourself 🙄
sorry those are not babes in cape town
Greetings old friends! 😀 Man has it been ages...
Well since the last time I posted not a huge lot has happened:
Fixed that oil leak, after all it was my sump that was leaking.
And the main thing, my car got tuned with the standard management system still in. Got it tuned at Docs Technologies with boost at 16psi (1 bar).
Here's the power figures at the wheels:

Thats 174KW and 306NM at the hubs 🙂
hey dude! thats awesome...
not to burst your bubble... but thats at the fly.... not the hubs...
Haha I asked Sergio at Docs Tech and he says it's power at the hubs. They using DynaPack and I've done plenty research and DynaPack only measures power at the hubs even though it says "Fly Wheel Power". Also look at the correction factor: it's 1.00, therefore how I see it is that the actual dyno can only measure power at the hubs or wheels and then use a correction factor to CALCULATE AN ESTIMATE of flywheel power. This correction factor would either be approx 18% loss for FWD, 20% loss for RWD and 25% loss for AWD. So I still think it's power at the hubs but if anyone else disagrees with me please feel free to share your views cause I'm still not 100% sure.
hehe my bad 😳
thats damn good then man!
are you still running the stock injectors? From what i have seen is that the stock injectors max out at about 155rwkw
