Just sorted something else out today, battery was cracked 😕 Pretty sure previous owner never changed it for a while. Bought a new one, car feels a little bit more Energizer-bunny-ish.
Not sure what we can do to sort at the moment gary, maybe we can find something to improve on. I'm available next week monday, tuesday; let me know when. If I don't get my control arm in d next 2 weeks I'm buying DriftZ's one, if he's still selling it 🙂
Bring it to me and let me go through it, I am sure that turbo noise is something small. I will go through the car get it running properly.
DRiftZ, I dont think so with a good polish and clean up it will like a different car. I can organise a GOOD polish if you want.
Or you could Sonax it at Designer Audio in pinetown, they charge bout R700, but they do an amazing job

Been there done that...turbo seals.
But tell us a bit more about the white smoke.
Does it appear about 20sec after idling?
When you drive? In boost? In lag?
Does it smell like burning oil?
