hehe at checkers in CT.

its a red VW Fox.

Cover text is FOX IT!

Issue 91

oh... and I saw they mentioned the T26g in there too. hehe 😉

ppoizenmoderator25 Mar 2009, 14:13

well i really wanted to fit my t25g but i was missing a part for the intake to clip on so i had to wait till i had time to work on it at work as i couldnt get one

so i made a template and cut it out of 15mm alu then i drilled it to suit locking bolts and but it in the lathe to machine a steped shoulder in it to hold the intake pipe

then i machine a piece of alu round to make the intake pipe

then i welded it up and dressed the welds alil waiting to get it in the polishing bay

here it sits on the turbo

while i had the turbo off i also took it apart and surfaced grinded the exh in and outlets so seal better

now i can fit this turbo

Just a friendly warning dude.

I did a little R&D on this venturi set-up when it was suggested a while back by a not much unliked friend.

It makes you set-up prowen to surging or boost spiking as the velocity of air increases. You will normally see bigger turbo’s have like little holes cut the housing this is to cause turbulence and control the surge.

I will get a picture garret uses another system to help control this, normally smaller turbo’s don’t do this but with a venture it is possible
