my turning problem is that im touching the inner fenders... not sure what to do.. contemplating cutting out the fender inards and 'tubbing as they say.

i had shit like that o mine was on the chassis leg towards your door side of the wheel. just a lil lip on the car bent it up and that sorted it for me.. a few other guys have done this like bg.....

Yo Driftz... Its just a spacer so not a kit as such but does improve over std lock quite nicely... Tein does nice rods and ends for not such a bad price.

I rate do the "tubbing , with the spec you going on your car would suit it and be very cool, not many cars in SA have done it.... What they are doing are putting mad double spacers and custom hubs = crazy angle , in Jason webbs case they even moved the front coilovers further out closer to the fenders 😮

You don't wana move your coils over thou...

ja my jaw was on the ground when i was looking at J.Webbs front suspension.. that thing was sitting like a bulldog on roids! He said his Dad custom fabs all of it .. i want his Dad.

My problem is the 18's i run.. i think 17's allow more angle without biting anything.

Don't rush into 17's if they are wide, I just changed my 18's for 17's and now I have rubbing issues. Need serious offset to stay away from this without much work. My 9.5J 18's cleared but my 9J 17's don't. But this is because the 18's were at ET12 and the 17's are at ET25.

ive also noticed some Pro drifters running higher front supension settings, so the rear looks like its bogging down.. not sure if its for clearance or higer speed weight distribution.

iets for what Team orange has tought the guys, as well as softer spring rates, but higher anti roll

Yip the lift off effect

DDriftZ22 Jun 2012, 15:54

Softer spring rates?.. maybe we should start another D-suspension thread before we run over the Drift pigs 😛
