the alignment and balancing shouldn't change with a gearbox swap!

are you sure thats the cause of the shudder?

RReeceZ22 Apr 2009, 10:26

Was thinking the same, but it is very noticeable, and wasn't there before the swap

HHighboost24 Apr 2009, 11:07

Just maybe check the Centrebearing on your propshaft. Those can cause vibrations, if loose. Should not do it while you turn tough!!!

Sould be all the time.

RReeceZ25 Apr 2009, 17:04

Shot man, will check.

Anyway, today... Clutch master cylinder leaking. my feet got a moisturising 😂

wwidowmaker25 Apr 2009, 19:58

maybe somebody kicked the wheel...

btw there is a pirate option ito the master cylinder kit - can't remember details - years back... but just to say there is an alternative if you don't want to pay nissan a hundred billion dollah. maybe phone around a bit

that leak is dangerous - it lubes your shoes and pedals... not such a great plan!

wwidowmaker25 Apr 2009, 20:02

AHA! found the packet (yep, I keep crap for now reason...)

Packed sez : "PARTQUIP Hydraulic Repair Kit P7689X"

was a LOT cheaper than niossan IIRC

mm@verik25 Apr 2009, 20:48

There is nothing pirate about it 😕 Thats actually a LMB Euroseals kit. By far the highest quality seals and cylinders on the market.

vveecee27 Apr 2009, 07:39

it will also destroy the paint down there and the fibres of the carpets. so rinse that shit with water as quickly as possible. water breaks down the fluid and washes it away!

but be careful of water near all those electronics!

eish!

wwidowmaker27 Apr 2009, 08:53

mmm ok, my mistake... but it was a lot cheaper...

HARRR!

mm@verik27 Apr 2009, 09:43

its just cheap coz they actually use material cost to make up the price lol
