Please guys do not misunderstand me

My car is not the only one in the shop,(as I have said before) I am a
very "eager" person, and Yes I do visit or check up much to
often. 😳 😳 😳

So please what ever work was done so far, are first class, of the best you
can find !!!! For me being a bit selfish I would have loved for the job to
have been further along, But as Rudeboy have said I don't want him to
tell me to F off or to rush the job...

I am just very very excited to get this done, and I suppose I have
overdone this totally. I appologise If I created the wrong impression.

I'm just very eager to drive the bugger....

RRudeBoy11 Feb 2010, 16:34

its all good - no worries - RB's are very nice to drive, so your eagerness is understandible, but its worth the wait 😂

was mearly stating the impression reading this was giving me

good luck with the rest of the build, see you at drift practice with it soon

(p.s) only after we check the static timing

and one 3way ignition module can def run this on wasted spark

DDracomoderator12 Feb 2010, 06:36

No worries man....missconfuckulated the post.....if the tuner did not give you a time....just go on vacation or some or other adventure in the amazon, when you come back....you maybe get a surprize 😂

HHighboost13 Feb 2010, 08:59

Have never wired up a dictator before, so this will be a learning curve for
me..... Rudeboy please keep you phone on - hahaha 😂

Just my Zim Dollars worth of info

Highboost make sure the timing on that engine is correct or you will have no boost pretty soon.

Use it dont use it I will if I were you

HHighboost17 Feb 2010, 11:16

For sure !! Timing is a killer.. 😈

O yes and the bonnet closes properly.

Update: propshaft has been taken in, will get that back at 16.00,
I do not have any electrical plugs for injectors, coils, alternator or
sensors...... so its scrap yard hopping for me again.

Any ideas which "normally available" cars uses the same plugs?

You should know, from first hand experience
😈 😈 😈

HHighboost18 Feb 2010, 09:53

Got the Propshaft back, and it fits like a clove..... 8)

Also re-rooted some of the wiring, to the other side. With the Toyota motor
vs. the nissan motor everything is turned arround.

Tonight: Will be swopping the clutch slave cylinders and moving the piping
to the drivers side. Also will be making up a wiring loom for the coil packs.

TThe Doctor22 Feb 2010, 14:37

Lekka :200sx_shit: building a car it always seems longer than it really takes.
😉 😉

HHighboost23 Feb 2010, 15:13

Tried fitting the gearlever last night but cant get 2nd 4th and R, will have to cut the hole a bit bigger.

On the cards for tonight:

Stip console, and cut hole - jipee I love angle grinders 😈 😈
Fit gear lever, and modify clutch slave cylinder (does not lign up properly)

HHighboost29 Mar 2010, 10:19

Ok just a quick update:

Clutch sorted working 100%
Radiator and all water pipes fitted
Boost pipes made and fitted
Exhaust down pipe modified and fitted
Main power supply and earth wires fitted

Dictator wiring made up and busy with fitting that, What a mission for someone stupid like me ......

nnirvash20 Apr 2010, 19:22

any updates??

HHighboost26 May 2010, 15:17

Nirvash, yes

The sx's is running, Got it started, running at 0.5bar boost at the moment
But still have some issues, a brand new button clutch is slipping under
boost.........nice 😈

And the car is running to warm to my liking, between 90 and 100 degrees,
would like to get that down to between 80 and 90, Running a 4 core
Radiator, with 2 10inch fan's from a switch in the car.

If it was march 2009 now and I could do it all over:
1. Would have used SR20 and not 7MGTE or RB25DET
2. Would have spend 70% of the budget on suspention parts and not
go faster goodies. e.g. bush kit, propper BC coil overs etc.
3. Would have bought less stuff, but better quality.
4. Would have bought everything brand new.
5. Would have spend R15 000.00 or more on a propper Clutch as these
buttons are a bit@h to drive in traffic.
6. Would buy nice comfortable buckets and not these race spec ones.
ETC ETC ETC ..

Funny how the small things irritate you once you drive it. 😢
