Management Systems

Gremlin has an aftermarket management system, I suspect his software will not work for the standerd ECU's, am I wrong?

I use the fusion programmer. You can use it I you want. I also got the software for it. I can do basic and a bit more complicated pic programming. But I wouldn't try programming the ECU. Not at that level yet. My management system has its own software and can be programmed while the car is driving. And you can also monitor everything while you driving. And it supports multiple fuel and ignition maps.

Is it possible to get the maps off my unichip and then I could try transfer them to the ECU chip??

No absolutely not. That's like taking a program from Windows and trying to run it on a Mac. Unichip has completely different software and different map data.

Is anyone using aftermarket managment systems?? What did you go for?? I was thinking about dicktator, but heard many stories about it (both good and bad) so I am uncertain??
