if you take the side repeater off and use LED they will flash faster as it does when a bulb is blown, the resistance on the LED's are less.....
All truck and Trailer spares shops sell the LED numberplate lights and they are real Cheap like R40.00 or something.
Once again, thank you! As soon as I find one of those shops I'll pop in.
No worries about the repeaters blinking faster, quick maths tells me a 30-40ohm resistor should sort that. I don't trust my maths however 😳 so will double check when I get the stuff.
