Shot HS, by da way, what the heck you doing up so late? Don't u sleep?

PPOWDER24 Dec 2010, 08:38

Yesterday she was tuned in my garage, purely just to get her to the tuners place for the dyno.

Took her for a 4km drive, but due to not having the new clocks in yet, I got highly parrow coz I couldn't see the temp or anything. Also started hearing funny sounds, damn parownessia !!!!

O well, today I will just have to finnish off the clocks and put them in, then saturday when my boet brings his welder then I can fix my hall pickup bracket issue. Then the girl is gonna roll....

PP3g4susmoderator24 Dec 2010, 08:44

Nice work man!! SO you will be able to use it before 2011?

What power are you looking at?

PPOWDER24 Dec 2010, 15:39

Well hopefully, otherwise early Jan....

Also not to sure about the power figures yet, my tuner rates it should be a T28 bush bearing turbo like on the first S14's and if so I should push about 170rwkw untill my T3/T4 is in, then he rates I should be doing about 200 to 220 about.

Just hope it will be round there, I have seen a SR do 210 with a T3/T4 on a Dyno

Well today, christmas day that is, I solved the hall pickup issue with the bracket at least, it is now supported an can be used to pick up the motor with. Now just have to adjust it to be between 0.5 and 0.3 mm away from timing wheel. Also need to then try to see if I can road tune it well enough to drive it to my tuner....

Has anyone got an Aframe trailer or a drive on trailer I could borrow for a day or two? 😀

PPOWDER26 Dec 2010, 08:24

I think it is time for a AFR meter.... I am getting so sick of tryig to get this thing going without knowing how much fuel is required....

Just wish I could figure out how to log boost vs. Afr with the dicktator though, would make it much quicker and easier to tune too...

PPOWDER27 Dec 2010, 18:07

Shot for the info RudeBoy, think I will pick up a set once I have the cash, but for now have to pay off debts thanks to my car. Once that done I'll make some more debt....

On the other hand I sorted out my hall pickup bracket, 0.5 from the wheel and strong as a mutha rekcuf ....

Now for the Dyno....

PPOWDER28 Dec 2010, 21:36

OK well after weeks of procrastination, I started on my cluster again, I completed about half of the wiring today. The rest should be done in the next week....

Next week I will be taking my baby for a dyno.... Once that and the cluster is done it will be time to complete the car P.C install and the sound install, then when I have cash again, I will get the turbo and suspension sorted. Dang, still such a long way to go....

WILL IT EVER END ?!?!

Shot cuz, ur ride comin along nicely too.

Anyway, I started on my hidden fuel and afr gauges today, will be installing tomorrow morning. Then will get my distance meter and clock installed after that. Gonna put them in the center console.

PPOWDER04 Jan 2011, 11:14

OK so now my AFR gauge + my fuel gauge has been installed, all that is required there is a full tank of gas to do initial fuel gauge settup with, and a new lambda sensor to connect the AFR Gauge to.... I'm pritty chuffed with the install....

CCharlvdw04 Jan 2011, 11:41

So what about some pic's?

@Charl - Hey man, how's thing, ja ja, sal een of ander tyd weer a paar prentjies op kry my friend.... Ek moet net a data bundle koop weer en on op my cell te upload a a mission.

On the other hand, did the Lazy Eye mod today, just need to connect a flip switch to complete the choice side of things on it, hmm or maybee I should go full monty and do the winking option too, that should work well for mobile flirting, bwha ha ha.... 😈

EDIT : O yea and I also compleated my new trip meter mounting plate that's going where the flap thingy used to be. I also started and am almost finnished with my boost gauge and voltage gauge holder thingies that will be going on the dash to the right of the cluster....

Promise I will load pics soon Charl 😉

PPOWDER06 Jan 2011, 18:23

Well got the 2 gauge pod finished today for the volt and boost gauges. Sprayed it black and is looking pritty good, should have wrapped it with vinyl though, would have looked a tad better, but would be a mission to wrap anyway.

Will post pics of everything once actually installed.....
