Including but not limited to yes 😁
The new turbo, in the end I went to Hannes Minnaar, TurboDirect was not very helpful, maybe I asked to much, in the end all I got was an email telling me that I can only get my goal with a bb turbo.
Made contact with Hannes, was alot more helpful then he was preveously, very friendly and even said if everything is done and I am not happy with the turbo, I can come back and he will change housing and so forth to make my goal. Very impressed.
He started smallish, mainly because I asked that we try and keep lag at it's minimum....

Specs: TO4e AR50 comp housing, I think 53 or 54 trim comp wheel, ar48 housing with new desighn garrett exhaust wheel(stage 3).
looks good!!
price?
Thanks!!
A whole R4500....all genuine Garrett parts....he even made a plan for the exhaust housing, told him I had the 5 bolt setup so he got me a 5bolt exhaust housing so that I don't need to change downpipe flange...
I am now also waiting for Obsession to send me a invoice, ordering water/meth kit and some some...
Already baught 3 x 25L Methanol = R600 Snould last me a year... 😈 😈 :200sx_angel:
Nice man, that turbo looks NICE!!!

No probs, will see what this one does....holding thumbs...
Well done! Glad u came right. Let us know how it performs.
Will do....it will just take some time now to install everything and then get it tuned...
AEM W/M and AFM wideband gauge kit ordered 😈
Some more pics of the turbo:
Exhaust housing comparison: T3 against T25/28(far right)

Notice the amount of blades on turbine wheel, aprenetly the new ones are more efficient:

Notice the amount of comp wheel blades, aperently more efficient:

Size :domo: :

Also notice the new comp housing has been machined to flow like a ventury..
looks good, will be waiting the result
Thanks....the meth kit and what not will only be here in about 2 weeks...but want to get the turbo and stuff on before then..
The new setup...ready for test fit

Looking good there man!!!
Much respect to SX owners like yourself and many others here that do most of the work yourselves. It really puts guys like me too shame....
I just dont have the time and the patience to take on projects like this sometimes. Maybe it's also due to the fact that I dont have a garage to work in, or maybe I'm just making up excuses... maybe???? 😳
Keep up the the good work and the updates thereof.
Thanks Nate, unfortunately the manufacturing part is done by someone else, I just tell them what to do, I don't have the welder and stuff at home, the assembly and all that I do...under a car port...my garage is not done 🙁, so you don't have an excuse 🙂
lol... You also tend to forget that my knowledge of anything mechanical is rather scary... I normally check, double check and then check for fun... and it's still a f***-up...
As an example, my white SX has been standing since before Easter weekend and it didnt wanna start, fiddled with the electrics, did so many checks all over and it still didn't fireup...
I just gave up... until last week when I thought to myself, why not start with the simple thing first, and low and behold she started... I was even contemplating setting the car alight and claiming from the insurance... NOT!
I felt like a royal d**khead... It took me three months of procrastination and laziness, to get that car started...
As stated in previous post, big up to u and the other okes that do the work u do...
