JJohnB20 Jun 2011, 20:50

Just dont take her off the road for too long bud.

Is this just cause I got lucky up great north and managed to get my nose in front LOL. That was a totally lucky one.

Any joy with trading the 2 turbos ?

BBigKriss20 Jun 2011, 21:00

Dont sell that Celica short bud, she is amazing for a little two liter !! No luck there, while I was waiting for some krag you were giving me one up the pipe !

No, no luck on the two turbo`s.
It`s fine, I`ll fit the TO4z to big mama and do something obscure with the little one...like having it on my desk and occasionally twirling the exhaust wheel for fun.......... 😉

LOL you not supposed to spin the shaft on those turbos hey. Fucking expensive but nice paperweight. I am sure the GT3076R will be an easy one to sell and get your money back, should be more demand for that than the T04z though.

Eish I need to get more out of the Celica when you do the 6+2. mmmm put the Meth Injection in and up the boost slowly until BANG then go back 0.1 Bar 😂

BBigKriss23 Jun 2011, 18:55

Well, I had a bit of a brown spot down under moment coming home tonight....Foot flat around the Kempton roundabout to Benoni to get past a slow little golf and my car takes off and will not slow down !!
This bloody RB takes off through the corner with the throttle wide open and I`m trying to hook the pedal back up. Hit the ignition switch super fast and she slows...
Friggin carpet was bundled under the pedal and held the accelerator wide open...

First time that has ever happened to me....jirre, this car is strong !!!!!

DDanielmoderator23 Jun 2011, 19:17

Hahahaha that must have been quite a feeling! It's happened to me once before...its amazing how quick the car feels in that situation.

AAdrian23 Jun 2011, 23:36

Close call there man....

JJohnB24 Jun 2011, 08:40

😮 Glad you managed to get her to slow down bud...

Mental Note to self Check my Mats

BBigKriss24 Jun 2011, 19:50

FINALLY !!!!! I got a package today containing my brake upgrade !! Ok, so it`s only the calipers for now, discs I have from racing days but bells will now have to be made..

Once the brakes are complete I will give her a tentative run around Zwartkops.. 8)

These are all 4pot Brembo Mono blocks which I prefer to the usual side bolted jobbies.
From a Porsche something or another.
The rears are also 4 pot but sized appropriately for use on the rear .The fronts are just humungus mothers !!

AAdrian24 Jun 2011, 20:06

Wow those must have cost a small fortune.

Look nice thou, will be a huge braking power gain

BBigKriss24 Jun 2011, 20:16

Not really...It`s who you know in life that makes things easier... 😉 There is a blue Porsche Turbo in the shop that has extensive rust under the battery tray . Unfortunately the left side torsion mount is also under this area. I am fixing this in lue of the brake calipers for the client. :!:

AAdrian24 Jun 2011, 20:29

Not a bad deal then.... Is it a direct bolt on??

JJohnB24 Jun 2011, 23:25

Will the Porsche stop with the Nissan brakes 🙂 Just cover them with those clip on Autostyle covers 😂

Nice stuff Barry, Did Ronaldo come see you ?

BBigKriss25 Jun 2011, 08:27

Yea, he did John...7 days late. But he finally popped round. May go his route, depends.

nneptune29 Jun 2011, 16:32

Yo BK
sorry for the late reply, thanx for letting me feel her again.
im more inlove with her now.
i must say you showing her the respect and giving her the treatment she deserves.
She looks the same but it doesnt feel the same, I like the ride very precise and its remarkably responsive at altitude.
car look amazing and i love the subtle changes.
