Very nice!!

Barry die kar lyk epic!!

BBigKriss07 Sept 2012, 18:22

Thanks bud,loving the wheels..
Fitted the rears with 285/35/18,s and still she breaks traction ! I am hating the fact that I cannot put the power down. and that is still with the RB25..
Rethinking the suspension setup , I reckon it is just plain too hard.

BBigKriss09 Sept 2012, 19:47

We had a little impromptu run today, Stew in the GTr, John in the very quick Celica, Ingo in the Supra and myself in my car.

My mods have really paid dividends ! The car is stronger, spools even quicker, hits harder and simply runs like a freight train up top !
It has all to do with the quality inter cooler. Just no question about that.
Time to up the boost a little, could just not keep Stew far enough behind today ... 😉

Any of you running with the chinky inter coolers, get rid of it yesterday already and fit a good quality cooler. It is just sooo worth it.

Water temps did not go over 90 C nor did the oil temps ever touch 100 C . I am a happy chap right now.

Vince, we need to go for a run bud... 8) 8)

Sounds good, I was wondering what happened with Stewart.
Don't suppose there's any pictures of the day?

DDrillergy09 Sept 2012, 19:57

Pics!!! Sounds like a great run.

Is the with the 25 or the 26?

Sadly, no. I had left my camera at the shop and John`s son did not bring his. Next time Il bring mine, was an awesome scene with the four cars !!
Don`t get me wrong, Stew`s GTR runs well, it was no white wash...pretty much neck to neck stuff..

This was with the RB25 still...26 will only go in later..

RRiekertadmin09 Sept 2012, 20:22

You lucky sod, I have liked those since I saw it for the first time - only pity is they are for cars with OBD - which the CA18DET is not.

DDrillergy17 Sept 2012, 09:07

Those gauges looks the bizz!!!!

Check the link, No OBD port required 🙂 Connect 7 sensors, Alarms set for all 7 and display Boost plus 2 others 🙂

Ordered mine on Saturday.

EEnzio17 Sept 2012, 13:51

The link is blocked at work, but I will have a look tonight.

When it was launched, it was only for OBD equipped cars - unless I am thinking of something else - but it would be cool if it can work.

So how much is it with the sensors?

No, they are actually not ! Normal krag and away you go.

EEnzio19 Sept 2012, 14:50

Apologies, I see now that the Multi Gauge is something different to what I was thinking of, which was the Informeter Touch.

The mutli-gauge does look like a nice piece of equipment - since what you really NEED is the alarms, so if you can set them and have them function for all of the parameters you are measuring it would be very nice.

rratadmin19 Sept 2012, 15:01

I got the infometer from japland with the R.

Not only does it look great with that "staffie-like" stance... It f***s off too!
That car is so well tuned that even under boost and the occassional flooring of the LOUD PEDAL, not a single puff of smoke, no overfuelling, nada!

Love the wheels too!!!

BK tunes BK's car! How many people do you know that drives around with the laptop pluged in.... This car is seriously stupidly perfect. The power is insane and so smooth you have no idea until youve been for a drive......
