^^ nice... these cars do awesome times at the strip~ nice but bigger turbine is always a pain in the ass to fit inside the GTiR... my friend have to cut the front radiator support to make the turbo fit.... and it only a GT30
Project Track Nissan Pulsar GTiR (Baby Godzilla)
so when do you see yourself racing it for the first time?
Will only be in clubmans next year, however I want to do some trackdays in the next month or so. And hopefully the Knysna Hillclimb!

Oh Ok 😀
should be fun to take up that hill 😀
Yip! I think it should do very well up there!
Let me know when the entries open!
That is very cool!!! I love those things. Back in CT there was a guy that a red one, stage 2 mods, used to shunt like a train.
A set of semi's, coils and a bucket seat and you've got a go-kart on 'roids....
Good luck with the build, will be keen to see this thing running.

Thanks for all of the nice comments guys.
Must agree, these cars are so nice! Wish i could keep it on the road! But with the crushing of cars these days.......Im not going to take a chance!
It will be a full track car (with a wide body kit!) and will be competing in clubmans.
Plans is too stick with the stock turbo till its maxed out and see how it performs. The we will have a look at turbo upgrades!
OK, so I spent some time on the GTiR today.
Car was having some missfiring issues.
So I took out the spark plugs, they where not 100% correct heat range in my opinion. However kept them in for now untill i get the ones I want, just gapped them properly.
Also took of the MAF, got a bit of carb cleaner and gave it a good clean....man that thing was dirty!
Put it all together again.....and what do you know! There was no missfire! Awesome! Car boost gauge is only showing 0.5bar boost and should be at 0.7bar. So i will go purchase a aftermarket one to check how accurate it is.
Car pulls allot better now!
Had a big surprise today! Took the wheels of the car to check what coilovers where on there<, seeing that we didnt know!
Turns out....Tein Sports Spec Type HR! Wicked!
Thats all for now....here is some pics!

that an bigger intercooler as well~!!!
ssssooooo damnn pretty!!! 😛

Sorry, faarkin black berry, Scoobies
This car will stay a 4wd! Got the compomotive mags today! 13" and it fits over the brakes! Looks damn aggressive! And the wheels are damn light!
Will post some pics just now!
As I said, we recieved the compomotive wheels today!
We were really hping that we could get the 13" wheels to fit, because of the specific slicks we would like to run and also for unsprung weight!
Remember, this car will be getting a wide arch bodykit, so its ok for the wheels to stick out a bit! 😈
Some pics!

There is less than a 2mm gap between the caliper and the wheels!
The car no needs to get lowered another 50mm +-..... Should look better in the arches then!
Secondly, the missfire is back! Dammit! Changed the plugs....made it worse! Cleaned the MAF....not helping!
What next guys?
Really nice car. Just one small thing you really need to check out. Running slicks and upping the power. The GTiR drivetrain is said to become fragile when upping the power and the grip. be it with bigger wheels and tyres or running slicks. Guys have had huge problems and ruened many gearboxes. Would hate to see another one die because of it. Get the drive train checked out, do your research and strengthen the drivetrain.
Fantastic car. Would love one myself. 8.5 stars for a awesome Nissan SR powered beast... 😉
Agreed with you there man! We will check out the stock system first, if we feel its not upto the strain we will probably get some straight cut gears... 😈

!
Looks good, should go well with those light wheels.
Just check clubmans rules about wide arches. not more than 65mm from body with no wheel outside 😉

Yip, seen that already. We checked and we should be fine with that...
Looks like this project might go a bit quicker than I thought. Hopefully we can still have it on the track this year!
