Yeah you need to get under the car and along the gearbox you will see two wires. The long one that plugs in just where the gear lever is, is the nuetral position sensor.
Here is a pic for reference:

ok cool i will do that tonight! if it works can i drive it like that or will i break somting?
As far as I can see you can drive it like that, I will do a little looking into it to make sure. It may just be the solution to the VVT rattle as long as the idle stays fine.
The only negative affect you will have is the car will idle in nuetral at 1500 rpm whilst you are rolling to a stop, then when you stop it will go down to 800rpm. My car does this and it's not really a problem.
im ok with that will have a look this today! and let u know what was the outcome
look forward to hearing the outcome
I think the rattle could be caused by 2 things...The first thing I would look at is to check my intake plenums ion warp converter, check that is operating at full working level. Just be sure to turn off your ion warp drive first... Otherwise you might run into the issue of having to refill your abampere level. Also check to make sure that the amount of Hydroassphixalins. otherwise you might need take take 1 and divide it by zero to get the correct amount.
The only other thing I think of other then that is the possibility you trying to delete your computers recycle bin at some point in time, It dividing itself by an infinite amount of times transcending time and space to reappear in your cars valve seats as a red jelly bear that is constructed from pure iodized molten KY jelly.
Dono, just a thought... ether that or you can follow the advice of the nub's above me. 😈
HAHAHAHA, that made my day!

already tried that but it didnt work 😂
There is 3 plugs there don't know which one to unplug! Will load pic up tomorrow.
However I did unplug the closest one to the shiftier, but it didn't work!
3 plugs? I only know of two.
One for reverse and one for nuetral
Get a pic up when you can but if that hasn't worked then that's odd.
The next thing to try is to now bring the revs of the car up to 1500 out of gear and see if the noise goes away. VVT rattly would normally go away only if in gear when doing this.
3rd plug would be the speed signal surely? 😕
Ah yes of course....doh

nr 2 is the one i unpluged. is that the right one?
Yeah it is.....maybe it only works with a lightly knocking VVT sprocket.
Did you test revving it up to 1500 rpm out of gear with this unplugged?
The rattle should still be there out of gear when you rev it up but when you unplug the nuetral position sensor it should act as if it's in gear and dissapear at 1500.
i will try it again today! maybe make a video on the phone and post it up!
so should i start saving for a vct sprocket!
I am still convinced its the VVT sprocket, I will be able to confirm with the video if the sound is clear. Not much else sounds like the VVT sprocket.
can't het the video on the site.
sent me ur e-mail ill try it that way!
just dont look at the car its dirty
Dirty is fine, all goes go through it 🙂
My email is info@kaihatsu.co.za
Also try get it up on youtube as that's normally best.
ok will try youtube first
