Well, this is what happened, 1st run-very close, we stayed together, 2nd and 3rd is out, seems my water/meth timing seemed to be rong, car jurked and didn't exelerate.....after the race on my way home, set and drive set and drive....got it sorted...a little too late....

To get to the point, on any race or drag cource even if you win with just the nose, a win is a win....so Phinx, congrats on the number 1 spot, that AR64 exaust housing on the turbo make a hell of a diffs, I can understand why the dyno guy told me I have a sissy turbo.....I saw evedence last night.

So the next guy wanting to take Phinx on has to get thrue me....aperently thats very easy 🙄

a legal drag course around Pretoria, will give you the detailes when we see you at an event one day.

When my small electrical issue is sorted out I'll join in. I might even run only 0.8bar coz I'm trying to maintain some level of reliability until I can have my engine rebuilt.

i haven't dragged in a while...

maybe i should come school you bastids on lowboost. So i can have _MY_ spot at the top of the ladder 😛

😮 eish, I know what your car does, I would want to compare tho, you on low boost ofcoarse

I don't really feel like doing a timed event though... (the whole gearbox thing makes me paranoid about a hard launch from standstill)

And you don't do those at 'street' drags. So that would be a better option.

Mainly i'd like to show phinx what a fast car looks like 😀

Have a timed event rev once but pull away normally. Makes them at least try harder before you get into 2nd 😉

When's the next challenge I'm ready for more now. But for the sake of avoiding the whole towing scenario I won't mind one bit if we either have a rolling start or a normal street launch. Well as normal as the clutch allows.

I promise to not use launch control; the thermal strain on the turbo is not worth it anyway.

Let me drive your car I havent broken a gearbox yet. 🙂
