Are you keeping your car for the rest of your life ? 🙂
Hi BK.
Thanks for your brilliant work on the OPC. Much appreciated!!!
The paint work was really good. I got to see it in the evening, though.
Pls tell me if you do media blasting. I would like to do my brakes.
If you can't, can you point me in the right direction.
Hey bud, thanks !!!! Just don`t park it up against anything, that poor bumper has been through several wars already !
Afraid I don't hey...Can anybody help here guys ??
In the interests of doing a better job and offering a top quality product to you guys we have invested in some of the top equipment available .
Nice new water based spray booths and mixing rooms as well as a Spanessi top of the range chassis bench ! Already fixed one SX200 S14 drift car that hit the wall rather hard on it. Superb results !
We also have the latest Spanessi Touch Measuring System for digital measuring of pre and post repairs to your car.
We are now one of the top major structural capable repair centers around !!

ooooooohhhhhhh new toys very nice.......i see great success until the end with this company....2 week and ill be there
looks very good, well done Barry
I agree, that shop is awesome.
A project that I almost got married to. That means it took waaaay to long but due to the damage and the changes as we went along it is coming to an end. Finally !
Florin Casmuto asked us to sort out his S14 drift car. When the car came into the country it looked awesome. Then it was put into a wall somewhere, guys tried fixing it but did more damage than good in the process.
Due to new panels being almost impossible to get we pulled and straightened the car as best we could. We then cut the individual panels off the car and spent time fixing these as best we could.
All was then welded back together and the car took shape.
The glass kit was repaired as best it could-there were probably 20 broken parts that needed put together and then fitted to the car, wider rear fenders that I had bought from Yakuza but never used were also fitted.
After quite a few delays we are now ready to paint her today..
This is typical of a project that just dragged on and on for numerous reasons, mostly unseen damage and the time needed to repair all of this properly.
Truth be told, I would not take on a project such as this again. This car really needed a new back end.
the night I went and looked at her..

After a sh*tload of work later.....

and where we are right now.

Oh, and this is the car befor it banged the wall !!!!!

Almost done...

Its looking good now ey
Hi Barry
Need to sort out a stone chip on the IX35.
The paint was knocked out about the size of a 50c.
When can I bring it in?
PM,d you bud, cheers.
I visited the shop a week or so ago - looks really clean and neat, was very impressed.
An interesting project we just completed.

and a modified front bumper for a Scoob. Owner had cut the whole intercooler opening way too big ! You could see the brakes through the opening.
We simply did it the correct way..

Have not updated here for some time..........

*droooooolllll*
the question is... did u at least take it for a drive / spin around the block /edenvale area / jhb area????
Dude, if you want sh*t in your life , drive a customers car . Anything can happen and then its dark times.
I did happen to drive this one about 3 km as the front "splitter" needed to be "carbon" stickered.
Believe me when I say I did not go over 40K,s per hour !!
Shining my knob here a bit but this car had been to two of the "official" Nissan GTR shops for painting. The owner got gatvol and asked us to see if we could sort it out. No paint codes are available to non franchised GTR shops so we battled getting the colour codes. Finally a mate at Nissan got me the codes, we tinted and mixed and got the colour spot on.
Rear half was painted as well as some of the front... 8) 8)
Barry
Just a quick question, why is it that 90% of the paint mix shops (here at least) always battle to match the colours 100%, even if you give them a petrol flap or even a whole fender to match! They say its spot on but when you paint its another story..........
