Nope, motor was still super clean, pistons didn't even have too much carbon on them. Car really did 110 000km for sure. Came out to do the collar for the oil pump and to do proper bearings, new rings etc....

You doing cams or staying stock. I have the 11mm 280 odd cams in mine but not to sure that's clever. I know it made 650 whp but I'm changing turbo and stuff to suite me..
So maybe the big cams are not what I want here..

I want, that is on the cards for the future.

No really, got the block back from decking etc today. Will start building tomorrow, everything is here now so just to tackle it.

So been a while ... Some pics. Started assembly today. The new flywheel gave me an issue but all is balanced and sorted. Bottom end is done and we will do some more tomorrow.
