this is not some kind of stage 1 ECU!!!
As i am waiting for the box to magicly bolt back in, i started some other work on the car.
Centre console was butchered by some 17yr old jap that thinks no screws are need for anything to stay in place. So i stripped everything out and going to chuck the mini disk player which cant even use our radio channels and try get everything back in its std places. Thinking of maybe getting a std radio to make everything stock again.
Bolted the bonnet latch back into the dash board but the cable is really difficult to pull, why i think it was out in the first place.
Removed stupid pedal covers, luckly the stock rubber ones were underneth.
Brakes felted warped and didnt really work when the car was running so took the front disks off to get skimmed. First time i have ever seen calipers with solid lines to them. had to remove line to remove the calipers. Will do the rears tomorrow.
The stock 16" rims are really light. The disks feel heavier! I dont want to change them but then i cant fit my R33 brembo calipers.
My bonnet cable is also hard to pull, it might just be a 32 thing?
Mine is really light and smooth to pull. Loob the cable with some q20

thanks, will do. I cleaned the mechanism and that helped a little. Cable was a bigger job so I gave it a skip 😳
Fuel sender is fixed and seems to be working, gauge and emtpy light.
Box back in, still got to fill oils and bleed 4wd system. Then the GTR is moving again and can get it reg.
SWEEEEEEET!!!
Up and running, 4th gear grate is still there with new oil. New clutch feels very good, front wheel chirp when pulling off easy.
dude that is epic! I need a video! 😀
When I get my gopro
Got Taxi'd around the South Coast today.. in laarnie R-Style 🙂
Im so Jealous Rat.. and you know it you were so rubbing it in.
Silky smooth boost.. and man does the speedo climb fast after 200kmh .. impressive.
Sounds Very Nice
Congrat's Rat smart ride you have 😉
Driftz I know that smooth Boost and the power delivery is awesome got a ride with Fred and it is Epic makes us SX drivers really ENVIOUS
The week before driftz came to visit i started the reg process. Going to take 2months to get it on plates.
Brakes were really bad even after changing the brake fluid. Had spare EBC yellow stuff fronts and a world of difference, just need to get rears. Think the pads in there were just shot after 10 years of standing in an export yard.
For the next 2 months while waiting for the plates i am going to start fixing all the small problems.
