I feel your pain taking the dash out. Never again am I doing that job again lol

PPOWDER16 Sept 2014, 06:57

Lol, have fun dude.... The epic part is when you constantly find another thing out of place as you think your done each time.... Just wish I could find the time to get mine finished, but I keep finding more issues lol

SSkippy16 Sept 2014, 10:06

Intake looking nice and clean.

By the looks of it, I don't think I want to take the dash out lol

Good work man! tell me was your manifold made out of steam pipe? hectic crack there wow, surprised it cracked on the actual pipe and not on the welding seam.

SSonOfAnarchy ZAadmin16 Sept 2014, 21:29

It cracked right on the heat affected zone, which shows that to weld this steam pipe successfully you will have to post weld heat treat the manni and/or control the pre heat and cooling down temperatures much better.

How are you going to fix it J?

SSonOfAnarchy ZAadmin18 Sept 2014, 16:35

Weld the kak out of it[emoji4] will se how long that lasts

ttroopiec18 Sept 2014, 17:18

How long has that manifold been in operaton? My steam pipe one is holding up but has little milage on it since building so it's a bit soon to say, plus I've got a T28 bolted on which is a bit lighter than your t3/4. But time will tell

SSonOfAnarchy ZAadmin18 Sept 2014, 17:47

Been in use for along time lol and had no support but we welded 1 in now

That's a lotta nuts. And some sweet gauges. But the 23 on the wideband makes it look like in installed upside down. 😛
