I think the event will be a big one, so it would be cool if the club turned up there. im gonna try make it. but will more than likely be there even if not in my sx.

same goes for me. depends on the luck of the dice, i also had to resort to buying a 2nd hand gearbox. if it it works out great, i'll even do the 1/4.

i'm setting up some shade and stuff for us and we should have a decent area set up with our cars, so join us gregT 🙂

i just spoke to my friend now about the event and he said that at entrance there wont be any pushing in frm the racers or anything. and also the japan cars will be on one side from the the german manufactured cars. but all in clubs. like for example the sx club-yay!! so hope everyone makes it

just bring me your 4 mags, i will find tires that you can get away with!!! and i will have them fitted. and then you can buy me a case of beer!

wwidowmaker25 Jun 2007, 09:38

vecee, when are we going to get tires sorted? or have you already? i need tires el cheapo style - and maybe others too. i can taken my trailer and take everyone's wheels to get shod. but i dont wanna alone

vveecee25 Jun 2007, 09:44

you have to go hunting for tires.

visit the shops to see what customers have removed from their cars. although some shops like TWT, and Hi-Q wont give away old casings!

then have them fitted - its no biggie. about 20-30 per wheel for fitment and balancing. thats why i said hook me up a case of beer and we're quits!

thats if they have tires, if not - then move onto another tire place!

Tried that, they didnt have anything that would fit 😈

Loads of 16" tires tho, some that almost look new even

vveecee25 Jun 2007, 12:57

you need 15's right, cos i often see 195/50/15's. better than nothing!

Please post some of the thread here; so we don't ALL have to register on the veedub forum.

Mr H won't screw up, nitrocrew is MSA affiliated as per their site but as Draco says this event might not be. Why should we care about MSA anyway? I think it's more related to standardising the rules, like the allowed fuels/classes/etc. If anyone knows more about the MSA issue please post as we are obviously all just intelligently guessing.

I specifically want to know if things like safety are considered; from the opening event pics you can clearly see medics patiently waiting in the background. While some might say it is unnerving to see the rescue equipment & crew it is nice to know that is part of the perks of attending a legal event. 😈

It sounds like about 5 to 10 of us are going and 3 or more are going to race. Haven't heard from phinx on this 1?
