what about this for a clutch?

Stage 2+ @ 330 lbs Torque Capcity - $380

* Types of Driving: Street, Drag, Road Race, Rallye, Pulling, Autocross
* Recommended for all modified engines making more torque than the stage 2 can support. Maintains stage 2 feel for good daily drivability and offers very good wear characteristics, but provides a higher torque capacity.
* Clutch Disk consists of composite multi-friction carbon-kevlar material and high torque sprung hub.

$100 for shipping so $480

my 4 puk with std pressure plate seems to be holding my car, just took a while to wear in.

i know that rezlo is selling kits

The full organic ACT clutch kit is R4400
The 6 puc sprung ACT clutch kit is R4450

Well, the organic feels like a stock clutch and will hold that power easy, a stock SA kit wont last long, I can guarantee that, the 6puc will be for if you plan to upgrade more things in the future, which is what 99.999% of guys do ๐Ÿ˜‰ I made 220kw on a CA18 I did a few months ago on the stock motor just with some basic upgrades, he now to needs a clutch lol

Will it be better to do double teeth on every second tooth of the pressure plate?

ggodzilla15 Jun 2008, 23:05

guys this clutch business is somtimes tricky and has to bethought of in all aspects.if you gonna upgrade ask yourself why first, what are your actual needs.Back when i still had my R33gts for drifting, the intention was to drift the pig and be my daily driver as well but all i thought was upgrade for drifting so i had ferobrake in capetown build me a button clutch same as the one pictured above and whent with double diafram- 2 sets of teeth 1eitherside,the result was a car that launched like a bat outa hell, locked perfectly when i drifted but was a nightmare in trafic, you have to rev her up to pull off without looking like a d1ck and wait for the car infront of you to get some distance so you dont end up in his boot. so for racing goood -daily driving bad and the clutch was as hard as hell ended up with a freking strong left leg hhahahah ther go single set of teethor like someoe mentioned earliar, half size the second set if yo must go 2 sets of teeth.well thatsmy 5 cents anyway
