Spacers

Have a friend who makes these spacers... any hole pattern and up to 40mm thick... bolt onto your hub and wheel bolts to spacer... eibach charge R2500 for 2.. He says R2000 for the 4.. made from aluminium....

Hey, that looks like an Autodesk Inventor drawing.

DDriftmeister01 Jul 2009, 20:24

hi dude
does he do 4x114pcd to 5x114pcd 😀
and is it reliable ?

jjap spec02 Jul 2009, 12:53

4 stud to 5 stud is possible... an existing would need to be used though therefore that stud would come from stub axle but be the original length plus new spacer length

RRBSX02 Jul 2009, 13:39

how do we make contact with him

ppoizenmoderator02 Jul 2009, 14:09

are you guys serious bout paying this amount for spacers not a f@#@ can be made so much cheaper i just did a design where i got multi pcd 4/100 and 4 /114.3 plus the 114.3/4 to mount to the disk and i can fit any pcd on them

then make them... just letting you know.. typical of people on this site to always have a better option... next we will hear.. bulk buy or something... PM me if you wnat the guys details.. high grade aluminium, the real thing

i will make them and i wont do bulk

you say its high grade alu is it 7075 which is aircraft alu if not then i would never use it rather use en9 which is a 40ton steel

stop being an ass!

if you have a product to sell, make your own thread, instead of causing sh.t on this one? having had a set engineered for myself at some stage, i know this is a good price.

first im not starting crap learn to walk b4 you leap
i never said ill sell i said ill make cos ill make myself and i said i wont do bulk hense i wont make them or sell and i said they must be aircraft alu or it a waste of time so you dont be a ass and jump at the first argument your mind gets to type

but im not bashing i just suggested it must be aircraft alu or en8 or it not safe

ppoizenmoderator05 Jul 2009, 19:32

i dunno - this seems to be bashing.

but yeah, i was scared to make mine out of ali, so i had it made from steel. kak heavy though!

GGuy05 Jul 2009, 22:28

Why go with 7075 aluminium? There is a lot of material on a spacer like that and they are mostly in compression as well, I doubt the stresses would be anywhere near the yield of any semi-decent grade of aluminium.

HHighboost16 Jul 2009, 15:31

With all due respect to everyone, we are not all engineers by trade; some of us have to buy these types of things, JapSpec merely advertised a product, if you don't want to pay that kind of money or are not interested, just keep quiet, or start a tread in the technical section on how to build spacers.

Just my 5c

GGary5716 Jul 2009, 15:53

Correct Guy, any decent ali would do.

Aircraft ali is not one grade but many, 2025, 6061 and 7075. All would be fine.

Good price guys 8)
I paid R2600 for TWO 100mm spacers with 10 longer bolts from an engineering place,The bolts were R60 a pop :shock:So do the math on the two spacers 🙄
Good luck

aangelo29 Jun 2010, 15:41

Japspec, can your buddy still make these spacers?
Are you running them on your car? If so were there any problems that popped up.

cheers
