its not even so much a question of how much, its even just gonna be a mission to find the controller in question.. unless you can get vaseline at discount and want to ask the stealership 🙁
anyways with the symptoms you described it i would guess at one of 2 things like i said, most prolly the controller, or might even be the abs unit itself (shorted solenoid, contacts ect.)
the FSM describes a procedure whereby the abs ecu can be put in diagnostic mode , maybe it will give a few error codes which will shed more light on the issue..
I took mine out last weekend, the ecu still needs to come out. If you are interested.
How much do you want for yours?
PM sent.
Hey i had the same problem about a year ago, its the 1 of the 2 abs relays under the black cover on the abs unit. its a cheap fix i think it was like R30.
DAMN... my ABS light also comes on now....
wile on the topick mi anti loick light stays on and i dont have ABS wat so ever
my light did the same all i did was top up my brake fluid because it was just below minimum
If you have an anti lock light and it's illuminated then the car use to have ABS and it has been removed.
To get rid of the light, remove the ABS computer. It's behind the interior trim in the rear passenger quarter (passenger side)
If that doesn't work (which it should), remove the light in the dash for the abs
I think you should just have to bridge two pins on the pumps connectors once you've removed it. Ill check and post what I've found.
