these would be cool for my audi but prob i have is i have runflat bands bolted to my rims so i dont think these will fit in

GGary5724 Jan 2011, 11:11

Yeah the sensors will fit, they go in the rim behind the valve, basically sits in the center part of the rim away from the tyre.

ppoizenmoderator24 Jan 2011, 11:21

the center is where my runflat bands bolt to would be a nice feature

GGary5724 Jan 2011, 11:27

What run flat bands, Im confused...

ppoizenmoderator24 Jan 2011, 11:30

im not to sure i know it a band they bolt around your rim to stop your tyre poping off its beeds so it can still be drivin

GGary5724 Jan 2011, 11:37

Pull the tyre off and see if the sensor will clear, I think it will.

DDriftZ24 Jan 2011, 12:38

Run flat bands are. Proper run flats are very expensive

GGary5724 Jan 2011, 13:38

Proper run flat tyres are cool, especially for a ladies car at least they dont have to stop in dodgy areas or anything...

DDriftZ24 Jan 2011, 14:05

you said it china... run flats are for the birds.

GGary5724 Jan 2011, 14:12

Agreed, rather buy lighter tyres and fit this TPMS and it will warn you if you have a leak 😂 .

this would be really interesting to use to learn how the cars handling changes are linked to pressure/temperature changes within the tyre!
