What are the chances of finding one of these available?

RRiekertadmin02 Aug 2012, 23:06

Ideally I would like to bolt the RB25 to something other than the standard S13 crossmember.

Thought I would take a chance and see if I'm lucky.

Ah... so when u getting the rb?

Daniel, I had the stock S14 member fitted with the Rb engine. A disaster ! If you do go std modify it properly .I was too thankful to Johan for selling me his..

DDanielmoderator04 Aug 2012, 20:01

Thanks Barry, That engine is already becoming a giant pain in my life and I havent even put it in yet lol.
Friends like mine who needs enamies  Oh well.

Its a NEO, so I may be asking many dumb questions in the nearby future when/if I want to get it running.

Lol yeah kriek, we can talk if I ever do the swap.

RRiekertadmin04 Aug 2012, 22:08

Hehe! All good!

And why not import a crossmember?

You will love the NEO over the std RB.

RRiekertadmin05 Aug 2012, 19:34

what's the difference?

Better pistons rods and oil pump. Top feed injectors and I think a better flowing head. Also solid cams and lifters.

BBigKriss06 Aug 2012, 06:27

Plus the variable intake cam, works like a charm. Exhaust cam is also a bit "wilder".
Love the NEO.
Bottom end is basically RB26 but for the pistons.
