Hi guys I'm a new member here, I recently got an 200sx standard ca18det the guy I bought it from dropped the boost to 0.2 I want to get the boost back up, this is my firts turbo car don't know them yet, can I adjust the boost myself or must a take it to a dyno shop to get it done thanx

you can adjust it yourself buy adjusting the wast gate on the turbo. how sure are you that the guy adjusted the boost or he could be making an excuse for a leaky exhaust manifold

lol, i agree with bigkriss it sounds quite odd 😕 i cant think of any reason why someone would drop the boost below the stock level on a stock standard ca18det, im afraid theres most probably something wrong there, turbo shot, leaky manifold, leaky boost pipes or intercooler....... could be a few things, plus i havent seen any adjustments for boost on the stock T25 turbo, you can connect the vacuum line from the waste gate actuator directly onto the vacuum nipple on the turbo, perhaps the boost cut solenoid is faulty or something, but if its smoking then you gonna have to get turbo checked

There is no adjustments on a stock setup. Stock boost 0.6
