Ero, they sed they have one new one left, and i got it - the other one is an item the customer returned because it fell into a tub of vaseline after which he washed it off with drain cleaner.

it looks like crap, but hey, it works great!
(sucker)

I spoke to a chap called John and he said I am getting a new one

draco, these knobs are off-topic, but then again - who isn't.

the site just has more detail about the offerings from metrika. like the warranty info, some sponsorship agreement, the range of gauges available, etc.

no biggie!

I've heard good things from various tuners about Auto Meter, not cheap though.

I've been warned to stay away from Auto Gauge due to inferior quality.

true jon

autometer have fantastic gauges, and they are in stock all over the country, although i think most of them can be found in jet park!!!!

I see the metrika range gauges are used for medical instruments aswell...I suppose it should be good then....I don't want to spend 950 and still have a guesso mojo

So what you saying....do you think it is a waste of money?

vveecee09 Oct 2007, 12:43

nah - i was making a joke!!!

but i know that autometer gauges should be cheaper than that. specially for a mechanical boost gauge. and they're also quite pretty!

and VDO is definitely one of the best in the market at a competitive price.

i reckon check your other options first!

DDracomoderator09 Oct 2007, 12:45

But I like this one.....the chrome and the red 😂

vveecee09 Oct 2007, 12:48

hmmm...

VDO is black with a red needle!

you could spray the bezel chrome - no problem!

DDracomoderator09 Oct 2007, 12:52

Yip theres the wacko jaco again....

tell me VC, the power transistor?

vveecee09 Oct 2007, 12:54

i have NO idea what you talking about.

EEro_sennin09 Oct 2007, 13:01

any body know where to get the autometer gauges?

DDracomoderator09 Oct 2007, 13:13

I compared autogauge once against the logged data and it were out by around 0.2bar boost at 1.5bar. So it's a major difference, but if you know it then it doesn't really matter.

GGary5709 Oct 2007, 13:30

Where do you guys fit these gauges?? Last time I checked they are quite big...
