HHancoB03 Jun 2008, 10:03

That is all most atmospheric so its good.

mmario_200sx03 Jun 2008, 10:05

3300sx03 Jun 2008, 10:32

oh ja , just thought id add , before the flaming starts..

iat will also depend on the efficiancy of your compressor (turbo), and ambiant temp. of the day.. so personal experiences may vary.. šŸ˜‚

mmario_200sx03 Jun 2008, 10:35

got that one 300, just looking for a comparison... kind of...

What you running at what boost? temp on the day you got that iat?

GGary5703 Jun 2008, 12:13

My IAT are always around the 32degree mark, this is on a hot DBN day.

3300sx03 Jun 2008, 12:15

running a hybrid t3/t4 , compressor ts04 (closest) @ 1bar boost (remember,im running a 3.0L V6)

temp was prolly about 25 deg.
wish i could tell you right now, but my cars not running at the mo..
šŸ˜‰

mmario_200sx03 Jun 2008, 12:30

Well, by the looks of things the intercooler and radiator combo is a good setup?

What Ive read on the internet on average your looking at between 30 and 55 deg. cel.

Or am I loosing the plot here. I know there is allot of factors to think about here.

Any opinions?

GGary5703 Jun 2008, 13:07

I think you loosing the plot šŸ˜‚ .

The temp difference between between 35 and 55 is HUGE. Anything above 40degrees is too much, when footing it then it is a different story.

Do you remember the formular PV=mRT?? work out how much less air you will have for every 2 degrees increase in temp.

HHancoB03 Jun 2008, 13:13

mmm ok so maybe one day I have to say this and I have been keeping quiet on this topic just to avoid confrontation...BUT

GARY IS RIGHT!

mmario_200sx03 Jun 2008, 13:26

that is right gary, but that 30-55 is with normal FMIC..... šŸ˜‰

Not wid the combo. Thats the range I could find on the net.

So the temp 300sx is getting is bloody good.
