Ok... so I was bored tonite and decided to take out my instrument cluster....

Also I started modding a few LEDS so that I can change them for the stock lights in the cluster... hehe

Why didn't you rather tackle the turbo?

hehe! still have to do a few of the LEDS... so hopefully by tomorrow I'll gave all of them in...

These are the narrow beam ones... so not gonna look so good. I need the wide beam ones... but I'm gonna fit them in any case!!

vveecee02 Aug 2008, 19:12

yeah... it only takes about 5 minutes to get the gauge cluster out anyway!!! so it shouldn't be a big deal...

isnt difficult to get hold of the widebeam LED's?

HHancoB02 Aug 2008, 19:18

Come come now...We wana see!

Hehe true! It's the soldering of the resistor to the led and making it fit that takes the time...

not difficult, can get them for real cheap and shipped to me in a days time... I'm just totally broke... Think I have R200 in my bank account and still need to pay vlade for the gaskets...

so the ones I have will have to make due...

vveecee03 Aug 2008, 00:12

make do?

still busy with the cluster....

but here are a few more shots of my new turbo....

but I encountered a few probs....

the manifold doesn't want to fit flush with the turbo.... otherwise it looks AWESOME!

vveecee03 Aug 2008, 22:05

what you mean it doesnt fit flush???

here's a pic...

I bolted it down and it gave the same effect...

This is where the manifold catches on the turbo...

HHancoB03 Aug 2008, 22:35

Oh ja forgot to tell you riekert...

You have to clock the turbo about 2 or 3 degrees and change the stud to a shorter one.
