Hey Brendan, been a while since Derivco mate! Spoke to brett last night asking about how the SX is coming along. I've sold my race golf i was doing and bought another one >.< But recently been bitten by the SX bug again, happens every time I see a good one :/

Howzit boet, ...ja it sat waay too long at Vino's with not much happening:(

but since i moved it its had heaps done, mostly at Gary's spot. it seems all the last parts have finally arrived, so it shouldnt be too long now to piece it all together:) i may end up getting Doug Wallace to do my roll cage the same time he does my exhaust, just depends on the $$ flow:)

Itching to drive this thing now like you wont believe!!

Some toys arrived today, Ichiba 5x114.3 Hubs, and yellow stuff pads... thanks to 'Import Parts'.

but im confused.. cuz when i ordered the hubs Jerry said they would only come with the front bearings, not the rears.
So ive been stressing over organizing rear bearings the past 2 weeks..
but it seems to me all the bearing have been supplied, so im stoked, but ..maybe im wrong.

the Claipers we bought from NZ, the fronts are off an R33 and the rears from the Z32. The fronts look very similar to Brembos but they're actually called Sumitomo's?! 🙂

IT LIVES... well almost 🙁 Seems my wiring is shot, bad earth somewhere making everything including my GoTech boiling hot:( i must say BIG thanks to Gary and his Ballie for helping me get the thing to the xhaust shop, where it is now, for xhaust and cage build:) then off to a sparky for the wiring.

Some shots with the wheels on, temporary tyres, suspension set to high so it can climb ramps etc:) The green stripe on the rims is going soon as possible!
