Clutch gone

ok well slave cylinder has new seal, system bled.
Guess what!!! problem still there, everything with the hydrolic system looks fine. The slave pushes the plate fine as far as we can tell, probably about 3cm as Draco said.

Now all that's left is something inside the box 🙁

Thanks to Charlvdw and Puls0nic for the assistance!!!

Sorry to hear man....

We sweat and we blead but the still no clutch f**k.

Hmmmm Maybe the fork's come off the pivot?

Worst case with a worn release bearing it can push straight throught the teeth on the clutch, but that would have resulted in alot of noise!!!

yeah - get that gearbox off there! stop being lazy.

oh yes - PS - i'm busy for the next 6 months! 😂 😂

EEro_sennin05 Jun 2009, 10:14

lol, I dont have the tools for getting the box off, what you busy with? Your new car?

vveecee05 Jun 2009, 10:16

getting married, my honeymoon, and perhaps the new car, also thought i might go camping, maybe do some fishing, have a couple beers with the guys, watch some few concerts, anything but removing a gearbox!!!

EEro_sennin07 Jun 2009, 19:49

and it is working again, what did we do to fix it, well I was on the way to my mech and guess what It started working again 😮

I went to him any way, and he says its probably air in the system, when the car got moving the air "bubbled" to the top.
As clutches and plates cant magically fix them selves, lol

So thanks to all who helped, turned out to be something stupid once again, yay

😮 wow.....thats lucky....murphy just screwed you over for the weekend it seems....or was it fate.... 😀

vveecee08 Jun 2009, 09:22

didn't you say that you guys bled the clutch system??? that means that there shouldn't have been bubbles.

GGary5708 Jun 2009, 09:42

How did the air get into the system?? I can see the clutch going again...

CCharlvdw08 Jun 2009, 11:34

We bled the clutch till there wasnt any bubbles in the fluid. Ive seen twice with mine that after bleeding the clutch ,its not perfect and then a day or so later its 100%. I susspect its got something to do with the aditional pipe at the bottom??

vveecee08 Jun 2009, 11:47

stupid clutch loop - its for old people, and woosies!
