good some new (used) goodies a couple days ago 😀

needed wheels ever since i did the engine swop and came across these which are the exact style i wanted just not the right width, they 7j, so gona get the rears widened to 9j to take some 255's, got the wheels at a good price, so all in all with widening etc will work out alot cheaper then getting a set of wheels imported and so on.

here they are:

also got an oil temp, oil pressure and boost gauge to help monitor my rb's health and running

when i get some time later next week i'l install the gauges, not sure if i wana dash mount or pillar mount or what yet, then gona send the rear wheels to hi tech mag repairs for widening on monday (unless anyone knows of a cheaper place)

will post better pics when they on the car

new goodies are always so exciting 😀

p.s after these upgrades next is z32 brakes all round and coilovers(not sure on which ones yet)

Thats close hey.

get coilovers and youll have all the space you need

nnirvash10 Feb 2011, 15:25

thats my 9.5j widened wheels with 30mm ichiba hubcentric spacers...

they touching the spring as you can see, so i need to make a plan.
firstly do you guys think if i go with the 38mm (biggest available) that the extra 8mm will be enough clearance?
also i am getting coilovers, just dont really have the money for them at the moment.

think i can get away with getting the bigger spacers for now?
and also how much more compact/thinner are the coilovers in the rear compared with the std shock/springs?

thanks, your helps appreciated

its not a sx but its basicly the same concept i lost my comparison pics
