Yep we do!
Hope I can get that motor easier like this! Oh and sorry for the Hijack! ๐ณ ๐ณ
Fitted the engine and all the bits that go along with it and I fired it up 2 hours ago ๐
Sounds good and I can't wait to take it for a drive. Need to spend next Saturday getting it ready for MOT and then I can get rid of the BMW and enjoy my datsun again ๐
As happy as a pig in shit right now! Its been way too long!
Car has just passed roadworthy today and is back on the road! Took it for a drive and was smiling from ear to ear the whole time...I still am. 5 months is way too long!
I will upload pics of the engine bay and exterior as it sits now, just need to clean it first as 5 months of being off the road tends to leave a car looking sorry for itself.
So now to book the shipping and it will be in CPT beginning of May! Plane tickets are booked as well...its all starting to happen now eventually.
dude load up your boot and backseat with a shit load of parts lol.im still trying to convice my sisterinlaw to to bring back a import at my cost on her name from doha.she's moving back end of year so i still have 6months to convince her and find car. i was thinking r34GTR or supra
Because the car is coming on roll on roll off I won't be able to anymore, they say your car HAS to be empty ๐
As promised, here are the pictures, new engine in place:

This weekend I installed a nice little clean simple sound install for the daily driving (800 watt amp, Kenwood MP3 front loader 4 mids and soon to have 2 6x9's), headunit:

Amp in boot:

Amp hidden away (Looks all factory just the way I wanted the sound):

And then I took some pictures after a quick clean:

Added these guages today, AFR, Oil pressure (still to be connected, may need to be replaced) and Boost.

And I was going to be drifting this coming Saturday but I found this whilst connecting the boost guage pipe:

So I'm going to spend the drifting money on a tubular manifold, 3" elbow, 3" super low downpipe, braided turbo lines and new gaskets (at least the manifold to block 3 layer gasket is new and re-usable).
Gotta love Nissan turbo gaskets...but I guess it's about time it went, especially after all of the downpipe scraping I've been doing.
Busy weekend ahead:

๐
On the to-do list:
- Fit new ROTA GTR-D's
- Fit 3" stainless elbow
- Fit 3" stainless downpipe
- Fit 3" Decat pipe
- Fit stainless manifold
- Fit new gaskets
- Fit braided turbo lines
- Fit new oil pressure and boost guage (ones installed are messed)
- Move boost gauge take off pipe to intake manifold
- Fit sandwich plate for oil pressure gauge
- Fill with new oil, coolant,
- Fit new oil filter and thermostat
- Fit UK Open Drift Championship sun strip and number for qualifying rounds in March.
Only have 1 and a half days to do it, and the one day will be hung over as it's the lady's bday this weekend.
how much did you pay for that 3" test pipe
Test pipe?
I have the decat which was ยฃ35.
The manifold, eblow and downpipe were second hand and I got it at a steal price of ยฃ80 all together from a mate.

yeah it like we call it extrators in NZ and USA they call it header and here in SA they call it branchs.... ^^ just have to get use to it...
Yeah and in the uk they call it a manifold (tubular manifold)...haha...back to learning new terms again
GTR-D's and sunstrip for the UKODC fitted, first qualifying round is on 13 March!

If anyone is interested in this fitment it is as follows:
Front - 18x9.5 225/40/18 ET12
Rear - 18x10 235/40/18 ET12
Rolled arches with slight flare on rear. It rubs only on max compression which is rare as the suspensuion is stiff
^^ your tyres are under size... but this is how they do it in japan... under size tyre for drift....
yes mate, stretched for a reason, to fit them to the car with low offset and it's the drift "style". Looks badass ๐
Also they are brand new Falkens and they recommend that 225 on 9.5" is the limit and that 235 is the limit on 10"
I've seen people put 195's on a 10" ๐ฎ
