No worries at all. U may leave with dirty hands tho!!!
I really appreciate a home built car such as this. Well done bud, your not local are you ?
Nissan 5 stud hubs, Chesapeak Nissan. usa..R2k and 5 days they are on your table at home..
That is absolutely amazing bud! Long time since I've seen such a good full on project like this!
Let me know if you want those GT Red GTR-D's.
Can't wait to see this doing what it's built for!
Very nice build.
Guys Thanks.
I'm truly humbled by the appreciation of this project.
Really motivates me to get it done. I'll post some pics Monday of the painted interior
It's Awsome knowing there are guys as passionate as I am about this build
Sho Dude
With work like that , trust me there is a lot more than Passion going into this builld
Like the say Jealousy makes one ugly , but i think it's more envy that one can be so versatile
Excellent work Bud and a nice line up of parts Simply love the S14A
Keep the pic's flowing 😉
what welder did you use here... coz that is shit load of welding you did~!!!
BTW: weld the front strut together with a plate for more strengh
Thermadyne tig 200 for aluminum
Co2 for the cage and seem welding
For sure I agree 100% with your suggestion
I still need to finish the strut brace. But it will be gusseted together with a 5 mm plate.
As well as still braced and bolted to the centre fire wall. 3 point mounting.
I'll get this complete next week.
this is a real build! what i am doing is messing around ^^
Hey man nice to see you joined here from the driftworks site. Y don't you just do your original plan and do the twin turbo setup..
Hey dude, lekker man
Hows it going?
Before i go to all the trouble, (and time) i really wanna see how the car handles with the weight distribution as is.
If all is well, ill happily add the extra weight upfront,
PLus....im happy to learn the car and develope the skill required with the standard 300hp N/A. Once i know and have learnt some stuff. Ill have all the goddies to make some proper power.
For now. I just want the build to be done so i can drive it!
update from the weekend. FINALLY i got the car painted, Primed the inside and cage. Getting in and out of the car with the cage every 10 min to top up paint is a fucxxxing story and a half.

Sunday i started fitting the front brace, dash and steering column. Needed to cut the dash to fit it. its coming out again so i can start the wiring harness.

Dry sump tank mounted

remove the airbag cover to gain access for filling purposes

I feel your pain something keeps breaking on my car stopping me from drifting it..
Looks nice with it all sprayed up, so it should be done by 29 oct????
🙂 I freaking hope so.....
All i have to do is some plumbing for the oil lines
Plumbing for the fuel lines
and wiring......
Oh and exhausts.......
never ends
can you adopt me please bwaaah teach me some of these skillz

🙂 thanks dude.
Make no mistake ....what these pics dont show is how many times ive done shit over becouse of a F up..
Everything ive done, has been thanks to stuff ive seen on build threads other guys are doing.
Also pressed the bearings in today for my hubs,
Finished tapping the threads.
How they fit together. This is the back side which bolts through the knuckle

I have changed the geometry slightly to avoid the use of a spacer, but still give me a wider stance,

😈 😈 😈 😈 This is only getting better! Nice work man! 😀
