Our Next Event

TTobyadmin04 Sept 2007, 14:47

A quick poll to see what you guys would like to do for the next event. We have two options currently:

1) Braai/picnic and gymkhana/track day at Zwartkops on 24th Sep

2) Braai in a private facility next to the dam at Hartbeespoort, along with the Biker's club that we saw at the last event. Braai will be done by the organisers, we just bring meat and buy drinks there. There will be a cost involved. Apparently there are boats there that can take us out onto the dam, etc. More details as I get them.

Vote now!

tru dat!!! the 24th of any month is the day before Go-Live because i get paid on the 25th!!!

but i'm keen to join a track day, if thats what it is. will we be able to get on the track, and what will it cost?

DDracomoderator04 Sept 2007, 16:13

If i am not mistaken the price was R180 or R280 to drive on the track....that is for the whole day...

To do one is not the problem, to do both is where finance management becomes farting experience...the harties might cost a bit more...don't know....

I have two people intrested again in my cabbie, but if she isnt sold by then the track day will be an event I won't want to miss.

I have said this before. I am not ready to go on the track with other cars. I will do it only with the sx members( except with VC, Vlade and s13-s14 conversion- the grey sx's. The windgat ones. Oh yes and gremlin too. All gray s13's drivers worry me 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 8)

Serious, but you okies enjoy and I will be there. I will watch the girls and the braaivleis. 😂

CChemCooladmin04 Sept 2007, 16:44

But just said that, I suppose driving in town is more dangerous. 🙄 🙄

VVladeadmin05 Sept 2007, 13:33

track is really cool, was pis scared the first time I tried, but I would do it again any time, you get divided in classes I opted to go with the slower cars since it was my first time, then I told me "enough!" I'm scaring the Lotus 7's I need to change class.
