They only have these track days once every few weeks. I think its going to be more of a braai and scope out session since its the very end of the month in any way.

I'm sure we'll do it a bit more regularly if it turns out to be good. Maybe we should try to make it to at least 1 track day at a venue per month.

We also need to plan a LAN sometime soonish.

You guys bring the weber and we all bring our own meat and drinks...that ok?

ddwayne17 Sept 2007, 09:38

wadup guys. i will be there for support. will also bring a braai. what would be the entrance fee for spectators?

DDracomoderator17 Sept 2007, 09:44

On a open day you don't pay to enter, just when you compete on the skidpan or track...normally 🙄

This picnic/braai event. Do we need to confirm that we are allowed to settle down with all braai equipment etc on their grounds? Any rules in regard with this? Where or which spot will we do this. I am just thinking that a lot of members under the car park roofs may not be the answer?
Can we get clarity about this? I know outside around the track it would be fine? Where do we do this then? 🙄

TTobyadmin18 Sept 2007, 06:49

I'm not sure about this, but on previous occasions, we had a braai next to the skid pan, and a braai under the car ports. I think we just need to find a good spot when we get there and claim it 🙂

DDanielmoderator18 Sept 2007, 07:45

I vote for next to the skidpan!!! 😀

Cool beans! Maybe u can gimme some tips 🙂 And also hold the fire extinguisher that I'm going to buy, 'cos those goddamn injectors won't stop leaking 🙁

If it is the o rings on the injectors I can help you with that Toby....

TTobyadmin20 Sept 2007, 11:01

Shot Draco, that might help! I think it might be o-rings. The leak is slight, but still, need to get it fixed. Only 2 injectors are leaking - let me know if you got 2 spare O-rings - I was thinking of getting slightly thicker o-rings and jam the sucker in, 'cos I'm sick and tired of leaking o-rings 🙁

DDracomoderator20 Sept 2007, 11:13

I have some, you can even ask Freddy where he got it cos I got mine from him, it is very fast and easy to swop, the hard part is to take the injectors out....thats nothing too bad.

vveecee20 Sept 2007, 11:22

IIRC toyota 4AGE injectors have similar o-rings that you could use.

they'll be about a 250th of the nissan price, but just take your part with you just to make sure.

i might be talking about the big rubber thingy on the top of the injector, or i might be talking about the o-ring, but i'm just not sure at the moment!

the mazda rotary injectors are the same, and they might be a 50th of the nissan price!
