does anyone know where i can get lambo door hinges that will fit the 200sx properly

SSokar18 Apr 2008, 08:45

NO!

mmario_200sx18 Apr 2008, 08:46

haha, was waiting for that....

Guess you also think those hinges are junk?

I think people like stuffing up good looking cars, Lambo doors belong on a Lambo, if you cant afford one you cant have one. Aeroplane wings that people use to add down force (still not sure why) belong on and aeroplane dont put them on a car (and they give lift not downforce on an aeroplane).

Yeah, what Gary said....

Ok guys if he wants to do it let him do it!

Its his car and his money thats going down the drain!!!

Just give him good reasons not to do that.

Like...because s13 are a long 2 door car they have quite heavy doors. You will notice that your stock hinge are 15 years old now and the door is already hanging and hard to open and close. Do you for one moment think that some Chinese bloke who built that in his spare time would be better than the well trained and WELL PAID Nissan engineers who spent years on building a hinge that would only last 15 years...Personally I wont spend my money on that. Rather do keyless entry or Flush door handles! make the car look better not break better, we already have loads of things breaking on our sx'es!

DDanielmoderator18 Apr 2008, 11:12

All the above and it looks SH1T IMO! not to mention fooken expensive

now this one looks pretty decent, but its the rest of the car that is schweet not the doors...it'd look beter with them closed

HHancoB18 Apr 2008, 11:23

Jip you are so right there Daniel!

ppoizenmoderator18 Apr 2008, 15:56

wow didnt know guys would be so against it well ok ida scraped and besides dont have 18500 for hinges ok next question fitting racing seats i wanna put the ones i have in my polo but for those i made special brackets would i have to do the same with the nissan or can i use the rails it was supplied with

VVladeadmin18 Apr 2008, 18:43

its a bitch to climb in and out of cars with that crap... fitted to a FD was a f#ckup...

but the FD's panels comes very deep into the car, when opening the door, you have to swing them out about 1/10 of the way then, push them, up... rather hard and time consuming... also narrowed the space allowed to climb into the car... but it looked cool

vveecee18 Apr 2008, 19:26

yeah - you have to make custom rails, or buy custom rails.

HHancoB18 Apr 2008, 20:26

Here is a plan,

Keep the stock bottom part of the seat, make a custom fit of the racing seat top part to the bottom. That way the rails stay the same and the hight stays the same. Just send the bottom part to a car upholstery place and stiffen it up.

It will work wonders!

ppoizenmoderator18 Apr 2008, 22:14

thats what i did with my polo seats i went to a car broker got a set for 150 and choped the frame same hight but dont know if i can get cheap scrap seats for the 200 sx any one know of some pref quiet cheep and in bad condition cos just going to cut them up

vveecee18 Apr 2008, 22:46

i was selling my seats a while back.

no one wanted to buy them...

you interested???

ppoizenmoderator18 Apr 2008, 23:10

how much you asking

vveecee18 Apr 2008, 23:17

1000 bucks for both, in good condition.

HHancoB19 Apr 2008, 07:21

There you go, and if VC says its in a good condition you can trust him...then they are!
