But really I must say the price is good.

If you look at my R1200 for a 63mm to R3000 for a 4.5" then well yeah

Lived of bread for 6 months, but was bloody worth it!

HHancoB25 Jun 2008, 16:58

Go get VC go get!

It will look and sound awesome on that new SR20DET of yours!

HHotstuff25 Jun 2008, 16:58

17" Gold mags = R3000
76mm Xhorst = R3000

Coincidence... I think not!!!

HHancoB25 Jun 2008, 16:59

mmmm VC is the master in trade...

vveecee25 Jun 2008, 17:36

dont you know it!!!

actually trading in wheels for an exhaust doesnt seem so wise. the car can run without an exhaust, it cant run without wheels!!!

LOL!

HHancoB25 Jun 2008, 17:47

Don't you still have those set of stock ones at home???

mmm... 😂 😂 😂

vveecee25 Jun 2008, 17:51

naught mabroo...

i sold those crappy wheels within a few months of owning the car! then i regretted it cos i had to learn to drift on 17's.

learning on 17's required a great deal more kahoonas than the 15's did, cos you have to carry more speed... but then my stoopid ca18det didnt have enough power to carry the drift nicely... so i severely limited my learning curve.

stoopid ca18dets!

Any specials on the back box only?

And isn't 4.5" the diameter of the tip of the backbox? What size is the actual mufler? 6"

I want a japstyle backbox already!

rratadmin25 Jun 2008, 19:12

i got a japstyle backbox, it came with the car so dont know what it is, same as RBSX's one

but it sounds awesome, and have got a silencer for it

vveecee25 Jun 2008, 22:05

the CT okes can organise one for 500 bucks i think.

HHancoB25 Jun 2008, 22:08

mmm yeah but remember those ones we get are FKS and they dont have a silencer so its loud...really loud! So loud that when I drive past cars their alarms go off! 😂 😂 😂

vveecee25 Jun 2008, 22:22

awesome - loud is nice.

but do they drone - like a hectic annoying sound right in your middle when you cruizing along???

i can handle loud when i'm on the loud pedal, but not when cruizing.

HHancoB26 Jun 2008, 09:25

VC allll the jap style free flows or as I call it "a pipe and a koffieblik on the end" drone somewhere, and usually its on about 120km/h, I have checked it out now with my exhaust and with a friend of my and he has got a professional 76mm system all in mandrel bends, when you cruise on 120 you shout in the car to the guy next to you when you hit 150 to 160 and up it starts purring like a cat, it just goes quiet and and sounds like a blowing noise out the back, almost like a small jet or something.

so yeah there is a droning noise and then when you drive like a proper sx driver its gone, thus you wont ever hear the droning noise...hehe 😈 😈 😈 😈
