Hey guys,Have received prices on coilover suspenions for my S14,Will be for mainly road use,I need to know what is better H$R ,Eibach or Tein as the prices are so different ,there is a R4000.00 difference between highest and lowest,Can someone till me why there is such a difference.
Suspension
TEIN 😈 😈 😈 Great coilovers!
Check what the differences are between the shocks.
where did u get ur prices from ljS14 ???
Import parts(tein),extreme motorsport(eibach) and racetech for B&H,What is the lowest a spring and shock combo goes?,Is the combo a decent soft ride? This will be a show car but i want a soft ride,What is your thought?
To hancoB,Have only been member for a week so i would like to know if there is ever any meets in Cape Town or is everything in Jo-Burg as allways?
Its kinda the other way round...(I'm gonna get stoned after this)
But yeah we kinda have a bit more meet ups than the northen boys. They have loads of big events, motorshows and so forth where we have small drift meetings or track days or dyno nights and breakfast runs.

Sounds like fun 😈 Does the details get put on the site?
Yeah, check under the events section. There is two track days coming up now.
Give Steve Hurley at Koni a call too. He'll give you a good price on a set of Koni gas shocks with H&R springs for the application that might suit you.
Oh yes,... welcome to the forum.
is he based CT or Jo-Burg,Do you perhaps have a number i can call him on as there are a few numbers given in the S&S ,PS: Thanks for welcome 😀
Unfortunately he's based in Jhb, but able to ship nationwide. I am sure he has a recommended installer as well... I saw an ad for them in the S&S and Car magazine... hope it helps and good luck.
please keep us updated on what u get , how it feels and how much it costs.
😉
Thanks for info ,will give the Jo burg number a call.

dude I didn't know you smoke the stickey icky....
😂 😂 😂
Anyhow! There are a few events here and there in CT. Will try and get a big meet up closer to the end of the year... 😉 😉
the yellow 300zx has a n/a v6 init!!!
aslo - if you want softish suspension then you best stay away from coilovers, unless you maybe get the tein cruiser/GT type of suspension.
but if you're looking at anything like the tein street, drift, or anything like that then its going to be too hard!

ja, i wish.. 🙂

+1 Koni are excellent quality dampers whereas Tein are only mid level Japanese coilovers. Do you really need coilovers, are you actually going to adjust your suspension for every different situation? If not then rather go for a good damper and spring combo like Koni or Bilstein.
