n62 maf
You will need to tune the ECU for the new MAF AFAIK. you cant just plug it in and expect it to work
Sorry I am not being Rude but why did you buy a N62 MAF if you weren’t sure you needed one?
OK anyway the wiring splicing diagram can be found in the sticky set-up by Daniel
You will also need to Reprogram or fool the stock ECU into getting the correct VQ = Voltage to airflow reading to make the car run correctly
UM I KNOW THAT THATS WHY IM ASKING HOW DO I DO THAT
Hmm you bought the MAF without having the software to tune the ECU??
Sounds like one of those cheap power gains... gone wrong.
i was told that it a gud thing and not to be rude at all you guys still teling me the things i already knew ok ill ask a simple question can this still be used on my car or am i wasting my time? how do you program the stock ecu wen it got no plug points and no softwear to tune it
You can buy the program.

have no idea i jus bought thhe maf for $10 so it no loss to me if it not works
yeah you need niztune... a map... a wideband... a datalogger...
speak to PFB - he's tuning his stock with that kind equipment!
trust me - its worth every penny!
Are you sure that's a N62 MAF?
N62's usually have an orange label and they are a lot bigger than that. Also the middle part doesn't extend from the one side to the other. It sort of just hangs in the middle there like Jenna Jameson's you know what... 😳 or that little thing hanging in the back of your throat.
post a better quality picture of the label on the MAF please.
it got a 70mm inlet and thre wires red black and white
I can't access eBAY at work 😈
but doesn't sound or look like a N62 to me. N60 is already 80mm. N62 is either 80 or 90mm afaik.
N62's usually sell for at least $90 - $120. The fact that you bought it for $10 confirms what I'm thinking now.
If the MAF works it may still be an upgrade on the stocker, seeing that the stock one is like 50mm ID, but you'll still need to go through the trouble to pick up a piggyback or a eprom to tune for it.
part number is 22680 31u00 A36-608 e60
That's a J30 MAF, also called a E60. Off a MAxima QX, RB20DET or early RB25DET
All N60/N62's have 5 wire plugs, not 3 wires like yours.
It will still work. Good for around 350hp max. Not as big as the N-series MAF's, but okay for that price. Just not sure of how much of an upgrade it is.
Thing with all these bigger, newer maf's are that they are more stable to tune at high HP.
Whats a MAF exactly????
LOL - google.
its a Mass Air Flow sensor
